Nature's landscapes often form an alliance with one's inner landscapes. Vistas can arouse powerful emotions and feelings of beauty and awe. The sky is an essential part of a landscape - it frequently occupies more space than the land in my photos. A significant object can give focus and provide a visual contrast to its surroundings. Black and white often simplifies and strengthens an image, where colour might make it banal.
