Our cities are full of billboards and posters; in some countries major roads are lined with them. It is a strange world of messages to the passerby, all in the name of advertising and consumerism. Most of them are boring, but occasionally they have some special quality or are somehow at odds with their environment. This is what I try to capture. I love playing with different levels of reality, and documenting how the passage of time, weathering and human action transform the original message into something new. Nothing stays the same; everything changes.
