My father had bought an old farm house with a lavish garden about 70 years ago. I was born there, my father died there, my mother had a stroke there. The garden was fairly big and lovingly tended by my parents. It supplied us with fruit and vegetables and also gave us pleasure through the many flowers my mother had planted. I took over in 1996. I built a pond and introduced my own plants, became a dedicated gardener myself. The garden's appearance changed, it grew wilder. I took over 1000 photos in the following few years, covering all seasons.
