I lived on the 11th floor of an apartment block in central Bangkok. My little balcony was my favourite place, my observation platform. I set myself the task to record the different sights and moods that weather and light create, and was not disappointed. Nature displays a tremendous spectacle, it provides a great theatre - often difficult to capture with a camera, even more so since I didn't use a tripod at first: violent storms, deafening thunder, gigantic walls of clouds, and the softest of early morning hues. Occasionally I went up to the roof, from where the view was even grander.
